As our piece aims to have a series of text messages on the screen, Chayana decided that it would be a good idea to do en experiment to see how we would achieve this when we come to making our short film so that we would be able to take this into consideration when we are doing our storyboard.
I started with a set of pictures because we don't have any footage to use.
I then used a picture of a text bubble, because that is something that we might want to use in our short film. I dragged it onto the time line and sized it.
Next, Iuse the typewriter option for the text, and put in the text message.
After this I added a zoom transition that makes it look like is popping up onto the screen, which is quite a nice effect.
I did the same for the next frame, after flipping the speech bubble using the 'flop' effect.
