To make it very clear to the audience that our female character is going on a date, we looked for date makeup ideas on websites such as Glamour and Allure. Allure was really helpful because it provided descriptions underneath each look:

A common theme with the makeup, similar to the hair, was to put high effort into the look. Most had very bright colour lipsticks, long lashes and winged eyeliner. Some looks had a little eyeshadow and foundations and highlighters to make to make the skin glow whilst still making an effort to look "natural". 

Putting in effort but making it look like they haven't.

We take inspiration from this and try different things with Megan's makeup to achieve the effect of looking like she is going on a date.

 Above are some photos of Meg with high effort makeup to give the effect of going on a date. We think this will look very effective in our short film.
