Mock Poster For Intertwined - Briony

This is my rendition of the poster. In my version I haven’t included any of the actors on the cover, the reason I’ve done this is because I want to keep it a mystery. We can see the text on the phone and we assume it’s a romantic interest texting because of the use of heart emoji’s and the contact being named ‘ My Love ‘. This doesn’t give away gender roles keeping the films characters a mystery.

I personally feel that my poster is a typical short poster film as it doesn’t feature any actors and doesn’t include a tag line. It does however include links to social media, facebook and twitter, as well as showing production logos, awards and association.

My favourite thing about this poster is the colour of the phone background. It’s a subtle nod to the LGBTQ community. The colours of the phone are also the bisexual flag colours, pink, lavender and blue.

My least favourite thing about this poster is the reviews. Whilst making this poster I looked at a few posters for reference on placing and text of reviews. I couldn’t quite seem to get the placement right or the font and the text looks out of place. The photo quality is low so it loses detail in the picture. If this was to be chosen as the final poster I would research more into text and fonts as well as taking a higher quality picture.
